About our Farm Location
At 4 House Aquatics LLC, we are proud to partner with Fleming Fish Farm, a respected North Carolina fish farm that has been under the ownership of Debora Fleming since 2007.
The hatchery buildings and production ponds were originally designed by the late Dr. William Lewis, one of the most influential figures in modern aquaculture. Dr. Lewis was a renowned fisheries biologist, researcher, author, and educator whose work has had a lasting impact on the aquaculture industry.
While no one can truly place a value on knowledge and experience, we are incredibly grateful some of the lessons and mentorship Dr. Lewis shared with Debora Fleming, owner of Fleming Fish Farm, and Davis Powell, co-owner of 4 House Aquatics LLC. His guidance, expertise, and passion for aquaculture continue to influence the way we raise fish and serve our customers today.
We are honored to carry forward many of the principles and practices that Dr. Lewis instilled, ensuring that every fish we produce benefits from decades of proven knowledge and experience.

Founded by four long-time friends with backgrounds in the fire service, aquaculture, and property management. The name “4 House” is a tribute to our firefighting roots, the brotherhood that brought us together and the partnership between the 4 owners. 4 House Aquatics, LLC was built on the same principles that guided us throughout our careers.

Our team combines years of experience in aquaculture, leadership, property management, and a commitment to public service. Through previous experience working on family fish farms with hands-on involvement with raising species such as Koi, Crawfish, Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Catfish, and Freshwater Prawn, we are committed to producing healthy, quality aquatic stock while delivering excellent customer service.
